OnPoint Physio Terms and Conditions

OnPoint Terms &Conditions

General

1. All animals will only be seen for physiotherapy care in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeon’s Act 1966 and exemptions order 2015. Any physiotherapy assessment and/or treatment of your animal may be discussed with your veterinary surgeon as required, and OnPoint Physiotherapy may refer an animal back to their veterinary surgeon for further investigation if deemed necessary at any stage

2. For equine clients, when possible, please present your horse with mud brushed off and clean hooves.

3. For canine clients, please have your lead available and a clear area where your dog can have physiotherapy treatment lying down.

4. PRIVACY POLICY - All of the client's details are strictly bound by client confidentiality law within the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the CSP code of conduct. OnPoint Physio also complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5. OnPoint Physio reserves the right to refuse physiotherapy treatment if the animal requires veterinary treatment prior to physiotherapy, or if the animal is considered a danger to the physiotherapist. In both of these cases the client will be liable to pay £20. However, this fee will be taken off your next appointment if one is booked

Payment

6. Payment is required on the day of appointment, by cash, BACS or direct bank transfer, unless a credit agreement has been specified where the terms of payment will be stated on the invoice

7. Failure to settle an invoice or make payment within a 7-day period post appointment may occur a late payment charge of 10%. OnPoint Physio reserve the right to pursue unpaid accounts in an appropriate manner, which may include the use of a debt collection service or civil proceedings. Any additional costs that might ultimately be incurred by OnPoint Physio in the process of having to recover outstanding fees will be added to the balance of your account along with standard rates of interest.

8. If you are claiming for physiotherapy treatment from your insurance company, you must have referral from your veterinarian and approval from your insurance company prior to physiotherapy treatment. You will still have to pay for appointments as per clauses 6 & 7. OnPoint physio will then send a claims form to your insurance company. Once this has been accepted, your insurance company will reimburse you for the costs of physiotherapy treatment.

Cancellation Policy

9. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid charges. The client will be liable to pay half the price of the physiotherapy treatment fee if a cancellation is made under 24 hours prior to your appointment, or if the appointment is a "no show". However, if your animal has an illness or contagious disease you MUST reschedule your appointment. You will not incur a charge in this situation.

10. By confirming your physiotherapy appointment, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions stated above.
